Luxembourg, LU (7th May, 2026) – Jindal Films (Hall 9 Stand F26), a leader in the development and manufacture of specialty films for the flexible packaging and labeling markets, will showcase at Interpack 2026 various print, barrier and sealing technologies designed to facilitate the switch from non-recyclable laminates (i.e. containing PET, Alu-foil, Paper …) towards mono-material mechanically recyclable PP-based laminates or single webs across all flexible packaging markets.

LIVE DEMOS – REAL TIME DISPLAYS OF MONO-PP SOLUTIONS ACROSS HFFS & VFFS PACKAGING FORMATS FOR YOUR JOURNEY TOWARDS PPWR IMPLEMENTATION!

During Interpack 2026, Jindal Films will be showcasing PP-based mono-material solutions with numerous live demos at seven key partners’ stands in various machinery halls. Samples from each live demo will be on display at our stand F26 in Hall 9. All the PP films or laminates used for the demos meet the design-for-recycling (D4R) requirements detailed in the recently issued new CEN standards (EN 18120) to help brand owners achieve PPWR readiness well before the 01/2030 deadline.

ACTIONS SPEAK STRONGER THAN WORDS!

VFFS PACKAGING FORMATS USING MONO-PP LAMINATES:
1. WOLF Verpackungsmaschinen GmbH (Hall 6 stand C31) part of The Packaging Group (TPG) will run a pillow bag format on a vertical machine Model EPS II Snack System using a 2-ply high performance barrier PP laminate produced by A. Hatzopoulos (Hall 10 stand A88) for sensitive snacks segment using MAP. The laminate is based on Jindal Films’ Bicor™ 30MB400 with Metallyte™ 28UBWES and will run at speeds of 100bags/min. This live demo showcases a possible 3-ply (OPP/Met-Pet/CPP) replacement with 2-ply PP mono-material recyclable solution for snack markets.

2.SYNTEGON Packaging Solutions B.V. (Hall 6 stand A31-B31) will run two packaging formats using PP mono-material 3-ply recyclable laminates produced by A. HATZOPOULOS (Hall 10 stand A88) on an SVX Agile vertical machine
a.Vertical doypacks (SUP) will be produced using a laminate made from BICOR™ 20MB400 outer web with METALLYTE™ 16MM883 as a barrier layer and a low seal initiation 50 CPP sealant film.
b.A second format will be produced on the same machine with two side gussets for stand-up bag (double-doy) formats using the same laminate but with a thicker sealant 60CPP.
This live demo will showcase PET/ALU/PE or PET/MET-PET/PE non-recyclable laminate replacement with PP mono-material solutions aimed at PPWR compliance in vertical formats

HFFS PACKAGING FORMATS USING MONO-PP SINGLE WEB OR LAMINATE SOLUTIONS:
3. BRADMAN-LAKE (Hall 5 stand C22) will run their new FT-iFLEX flow wrapper using a new clear high barrier OPP solution as a single web for high HFFS speeds in applications requiring good product protection. BICOR™ 25MBH568 will be used for tray wrapping at speeds up to 60 cycles per minute. MBH568 has a good balance of WVTR and OTR and uses JFE’s very low temperature seal coating (VLTS) technology in combination with a high barrier coating that is designed to replace PVdC or EVOH based structure as a single web. This live demo will showcase the ability of BOPP film single web solution to replace laminates even in barrier segments for high-speed applications.

4.EUROSICMA SpA (Hall 17 stand A20) – part of the IMA group – will run two flow wrap HFFS machines using PP mono-material solutions:
a.A EURO 88 PP flow wrapper machine designed for chocolate confectionery segments will run with BICOR™ 30MBH568 printed by SRD Pack (www.sdrpack.com) up to 200ppm. MBH568 has a good medium level barrier property and uses JFE’s very low temperature seal coating (VLTS) technology for high packaging speeds.
b.An R-201 ND Mid-range flow wrapper machine designed for wrapping instant noodles will run at speeds up to 200ppm with a mono-PP laminate produced by SDR Pack composed of BICOR™ 12MB100 with METALLYTE™ 28UBWES. This mono-PP solution can replace non-recyclable PET based laminates such as 12PET/25Met-CPP.
These two live demos showcase single web and laminate mono-PP solutions for flowpack barrier segments to create solutions aligned with of the PPWR D4R objectives.

5.GERHARD SCHUBERT GmbH (Hall 14 stand D01) will be running a single web mono-PP solution using BICOR 30MBH568 converted by SMARTFLEX (www.smartflex-printing.de). SCHUBERT will be showcasing a new Top Loading Machine (flowpacker TLM) with typical packing speeds of 800 cookies per minute. MBH568 has a good clear barrier property and uses JFE’s very low temperature seal coating (VLTS) technology for high packaging speeds.
This live demo is showcasing a high-performance PP mono material solution aligned towards PPWR readiness.

PFM SpA (Hall 13 A03) will show their PFM ZONDA/Cookiebot HFFS machine on the Royal Houdijk stand (Hall 3 A19) with a recyclable solution. It will run a mono-PP laminate on a high speed HFSS machine converted by SDR Pack (www.sdrpack.com) using BICOR™ 12MB100 with METALLYTE™ 20MLB.
The PFM ZONDA machine can run up to 300 ppm but will pack products at 100ppm during the tradeshow. MB100 is a unique thin OPP film with improved heat resistance and very high Modulus that can replace PET film outer webs. UBWES is an ultra-high barrier (UHB) metallized white film with outstanding barrier and sealing properties.
7. ULMA (Hall 5 stand C23) will be running a high speed HFFS machine using two cold seal applications with PP mono-material solutions converted by ENPLATER SA (Hall 10 stand D52). One application using a thin single web with OPPalyte™ 35MH247 using a release lacquer, and the other application with a matt laminate using BICOR™ 18CSRM with OPPalyte™ 33MW247.
