Luxembourg, LU (7th May, 2026) – Jindal Films (Hall 9 Stand F26), a leader in the development and manufacture of specialty films for the flexible packaging and labeling markets, will showcase at Interpack 2026 various print, barrier and sealing technologies designed to facilitate the switch from non-recyclable laminates (i.e. containing PET, Alu-foil, Paper …) towards mono-material mechanically recyclable PP-based laminates or single webs across all flexible packaging markets.

JINDAL FILMS DISPLAYS INNOVATIVE BOPP FILM SOLUTIONS TO HELP BRAND OWNERS SHIFT FROM NON-RECYCLABLE LAMINATES TO MONO-PP RECYCLABLE SOLUTIONS!

Jindal Films Europe (Hall 9 Stand F26) keeps expanding its BOPP film range to provide customers with PP mono-material solutions across numerous market segments and packaging formats. Recently introduced BOPP grades from JFE’s portfolio can help replace PET films, barrier PET films, Paper and Aluminum foils for dry product applications. JFE has developed outer web solutions to replace PET films – such as BICOR MB100, MR100 and MR103 – and has now focused its Innovation efforts on OPP barrier film webs.

Market demand for mono-material solutions in the liquid packaging area has generated the need for improved films for markets ranging from cold-fill products to hot-fill and pasteurized products, as well as in aseptic beverages and heat sterilized (retort) segments. METALLYTE™ 18MML883 and ALOX-LYTE™ 18AOL893 films were recently developed to meet the needs of 3-ply laminates for the liquid packaging segments, excluding the more demanding retort applications. Better performance than current vacuum- coated grades – now broadly used for dry product applications – was developed to meet the more stringent needs of some of the liquid segments, such as condiments, sauces, juices, and various fruit or vegetable purées.

JFE also recently developed BICOR 25&30MBH568 for high speed HFFS flow-pack formats, mostly focused on biscuits & baked products markets. This innovative barrier film solution will be running during live demos at several machinery suppliers (e.g. Bradman Lake, IMA Eurosicma and G. Schubert) during Interpack 2026. MBH568 is a PP mono-material transparent BOPP film range with thin water-based coatings which provide excellent seal performance and great medium range barrier performance (WVTR 3 and OTR 10). MBH568 conforms to the new CEN EN 18120-7 “design-for-recycling” standard issued in mid-April and can be used as a single web to replace previously used PVdC-coated films, or various laminates using other clear barrier technologies.
