Product Description

Label-Lyte 50LLA539 is a clear, two-side coated, polypropylene label facestock designed for demanding pressure sensitive applications where outstanding ink adhesion and adhesive anchorage are required. This premium film provides a no label look and is commonly used in beverage, health-and-beauty, and pharmaceutical applications. The coated print surface is compatible with UV, flexo, letterpress, screen and offset systems. Additionally, it is compatible with solvent and water based flexo and solvent based gravure. 50LLA539 is also compatible with hot stamping and cold foil stamping systems. The adhesive side is coated to provide improved anchorage of pressure sensitive adhesives.

Processing Statement

  • 50LLA539 rolls are sensitive to damage from improper handling. The use of a sling is recommended. Avoid direct web contact with the floor or a pallet. Rolls should not be dropped or rolled.
  • Both surfaces of this film are coated and provide outstanding converting performance. Therefore, treatment as part of the converting process is not recommended.
  • Prior testing and consultation with the ink and pressure-sensitive adhesive suppliers are recommended to ensure compatibility.
  • The coated print surface may not be compatible with all release rs. Compatibility testing is strongly recommended.
  • This film is not intended for use in unprinted zigzag applications, in which the coated print surface is in contact with itself.
  • Recommended storage conditions for coated PSL films are, Temperature: 15 degrees C to 30 degrees C (59 degrees F to 86 degrees F);Humidity: 40% to 65% RH
